TERMS AND CONDITIONS – LOCL

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep this information up to date.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Use of the Service

LOCL provides a platform for discovering local events and activities. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload viruses or malicious code

5. User Content

You may be able to submit, post, or share content through the Service ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant LOCL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content in connection with the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

6. In-App Communication

The Service may include chat or messaging features. You agree to communicate respectfully and not use these features to:

• Send spam or unsolicited messages
• Harass or intimidate other users
• Share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Solicit personal information from other users

We reserve the right to monitor communications and remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Events and Third-Party Content

LOCL displays events and activities organized by third parties. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, quality, or safety of third-party events
• Any disputes between you and event organizers
• Cancellations, changes, or issues with events

Attendance at any event is at your own risk. We encourage you to verify event details and exercise appropriate caution.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Adcetera AB and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at hello@getlocl.app.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADCETERA AB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adcetera AB and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
